The Delta® Ultra-Light 1000 Full-Electric Low Bed combines universal compatibility with innovative design for safe, comfortable home care. The transition box mounted on the foot section enables interchangeability with Drive and most other manufacturers' bed ends, while the high/low shaft remains permanently installed to prevent loss between setups. Engineered for ease of use and caregiver comfort, this bed features a completely self-contained motor that reduces weight and noise, pre-installed on the foot section with top-mounted Hi/Lo crank accessibility. The hand crank is positioned on the footboard to eliminate bending when the bed is in low position. Height adjusts from 9.25" to 23" deck height, and the motor assembly can be installed or removed with the patient in bed. Safety is paramount. The bed, side rails, and mattress are SGS-tested and satisfy all FDA entrapment guidelines. Color-coded springs and labels ensure accurate side rail installation. The motor is UL-approved, and a 9-volt battery in the hand control allows nine emergency lowering cycles during power failure.
