Mepiform 4 x 30cm is a self-adherent soft silicone dressing from Molnlycke designed for scar management. It is thin, discreet, and flexible, with a Safetac soft silicone contact layer that adheres gently to the skin without causing pain or trauma at removal. Mepiform is designed for the management of both old and new hypertrophic and keloid scars, and can also be used as a preventive therapy on closed wounds to reduce the risk of abnormal scarring. The 4 x 30cm size is a long, narrow format well suited for linear scars such as those from surgical incisions, C-sections, or long trauma wounds. The dressing is breathable and showerproof. It can be worn for up to 24 hours a day and reapplied after daily skin inspection. Each box contains 5 individually packaged sterile dressings.
