Mepiform 5 x 7.5cm is a self-adherent soft silicone dressing from Molnlycke designed for scar management. It is thin, discreet, and flexible, with a Safetac soft silicone contact layer that adheres gently to the skin without causing pain or trauma at removal. Mepiform is designed for the management of both old and new hypertrophic and keloid scars, and can also be used as a preventive therapy on closed wounds to reduce the risk of abnormal scarring. The 5 x 7.5cm size is the smallest in the range and is well suited for small scars such as those from minor surgical incisions or small injuries. The dressing is breathable and showerproof. It can be worn for up to 24 hours a day and reapplied after daily skin inspection. Each box contains 5 individually packaged sterile dressings.
