The dressing features an absorbent wound pad with a low-adherent wound contact layer, a soft elastic backing film that is breathable yet waterproof, and a skin-friendly adhesive for gentle, secure fixation. The backing film acts as a bacterial and viral barrier, protecting the wound from water and outside contamination. Mepore Pro has low friction to clothing and bed linens for patient comfort. The 9 x 15cm format has a 4.5 x 10cm wound pad, providing extended coverage for longer wounds such as surgical incisions or lacerations. Each box contains 40 individually packaged sterile dressings.
